What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Analyst position at Azura Credit Union?
Credit Analyst reviews Direct and Indirect consumer credit transactions per Credit Union policy and procedure in an accurate and timely manner. These tasks encompasses a variety of duties associated with making loan decisions.
Duties:
- Processes daily credit transactions including performing the initial credit analysis to determine if member’s credit requests satisfy established guidelines and prepares all documentation for those credit transactions.
- Monitors all credit activity to ensure daily assignments are completed.
- After processing the initial credit transaction, makes recommendations to Financial Associate regarding cross-sell opportunities.
- Works with Indirect Funding team and Indirect Program Manager to maintain and build business relationships with Indirect Dealer Partners, including suggesting and implementing improvements to Indirect Program.
- Provides support to Credit Union members and staff by explaining credit policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- Two-year college degree or completions of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training.
- Strong communication skills verbal and written.
- High attention to detail.
- Computer skill and working knowledge of general office equipment.
