Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Learn and apply skills such as framing carpentry, caulking, and flooring installation.
- Help with remodeling projects by assembling components and ensuring proper alignment and plumb.
- Utilize hand tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols on job sites.
- Participate in construction painting tasks as needed to complete projects.
- Support team members with heavy lifting and moving materials as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic understanding of carpentry principles is a plus, but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
