Job Responsibilities:

1. Read recipes, prep lists and communicate with the kitchen manager and other cooks to find out what needs to be done.
2. Prepare, cook and assemble raw ingredients into high quality meals by reading incoming tickets and working with kitchen staff to execute orders quickly and efficiently.
3. Monitor ingredients and supplies and use inventory/par lists to notify manager of the need to reorder.
4. Clean and sterilize food prep areas, utensils and equipment before and after use.
5. Assisting other kitchen and cafe staff to ensure food orders are completed correctly and on time.
6. Ensure food health and safety regulations are followed. 
7. Duties include assisting in dish when needed.
8. End of kitchen clean up

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and stay focused
2. Riverside County Food Handlers Certificate (ServSafe Preferred)
3. Ability to stand or walk for 8 hour shifts and lift at least 50 lbs
4. Willingness to comply with all food and kitchen safety procedures
5. Adequate cooking experience at home, school or work
6. Proper knife and safety skills

Shifts -PM (We close at 8:00pm)

Pay - DOE 

Must be available on holidays and weekends.

Experience:

• Cooking: 3 year
• Restaurant Experience: 3 years
