The deserts newest upscale Resort & Spa is seeking a talented Spa Receptionist.
AZURE PALM HOT SPRINGS is an exciting and unique resort oasis located in the Miracle Hill area of Desert Hot Springs. 40 guest accommodations, full-service spa, the largest mineral water pool in So Cal, a healthy caf anda natural hot spring oasis!
Our Reservations agents are the first point of contact with our guests and candidates must have exceptional phone as well as customer service skills.

Job Type : Full-Time; Onsite
Availability : Weekends and holidays are a must. Open availability and flexibility desired
Shift : Currently looking to fill specifically a 10 : 30am to 7 : 00pm. However, shifts may vary depending on business needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Answer the telephone within 3 rings providing legendary customer service
Explains the property and spa treatments to guests concisely, using excellent communication skills
Listen and effectively communicate booking information and policies
Schedule Spa treatment and Oasis Day use admissions
Thoroughly discuss our 35 different Spa treatments and therapies to effectively sell to appropriate treatments to each guest
Process a cancellation, alter a reservation and be familiar with company policies.
Assist guests with questions, special requests and issues before, during and after their stays ensuring a positive experience through great customer service. Use empathy on issues and complains and managers support as necessary.
Efficiently and accurately enter data into a variety of systems and electronic databases.
Other duties as assigned
Key Competencies
At least 18 years of age
Hotel and or Spa experience preferred
Excellent phone etiquette
Must be reliable, dependable, consistent and does not have attendance issues
Self-starter- is self-motivated and takes the initiative to complete tasks, doesnt require constant supervision and direction
Ability to work effectively with other department employees and guests
Above average multi-tasking skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge in RoomMaster and Spa Soft preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to type 25 WPM
Ability to make decisions and problem solve
Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
Ability to learn and use new software and tools
Working Conditions
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to sit at a desk / work station for an extended period of time, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile and climbing stairs.
Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and / or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment.
Education and / or Experience :
- Customer Service : 2 years (required)
- Hospitality : 1 year (preferred)
- Call Center : 1 year (preferred)
- Spa Environment : 1 year (preferred)
