We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate medical documentation for healthcare providers.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Administer basic care services including medication reminders and assistance with personal hygiene.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Engage in activities that promote cognitive stimulation for clients suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care settings is beneficial.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while following established guidelines are essential.
