Job Summary
Cool Pool Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance and cleaning. This role involves ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients. The Pool Technician will utilize various hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of pools to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces.
- Maintain proper chemical levels in pools by testing water quality and applying necessary treatments.
- Repair and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Document service visits, including work performed and any recommendations for future maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
