Arbor Pharmaceuticals, a privately-owned pharmaceutical company, is recruiting for a Territory Business Manager. This candidate should be a highly motivated sales professional who has an ownership mindset and has the desire to join a winning team with products that truly add value to people’s lives. The selected individual will become a member of our Retail Specialty Sales Team that is responsible for promoting products in several therapeutic areas including but not limited to cardiology, neurology, psychiatry and pediatrics.The Territory Business Manager will be responsible for achieving dollar sales growth within a given geographical area. This is an outstanding opportunity for those with no pharmaceutical sales experience but strong previous outside sales experience, to launch a pharmaceutical sales career. Our sales professionals have singular ownership of his or her territory. This full-time position includes a base salary, an uncapped commission plan, a generous vehicle reimbursement program, a full benefits package (including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match), paid time off and ten company paid holidays, comprehensive product and sales training, full expense account privileges, and special recognition for top performers.Key Responsibilities:Drive sales growth to maximize net sales within geographic territory and help the organization meet its annual net sales goalsPossess mastery level knowledge of all assigned products, disease states, treatment, and competitor products and effectively communicate that knowledge to drive performanceCall on key healthcare providers, including physicians, pharmacists, and their staff on a regular basis and achieve daily call goals to drive sales growthMaximize sales potential by effectively analyzing territory business on a regular basisEffectively and compliantly manage territory which includes call reporting, product sample management, expense reporting, and maintaining consistent, routine communication with manager and colleaguesDemonstrate the following personal attributes: ownership mentality, resourceful, a positive attitude, determined, persistent, curious, works with urgency, and is confidentMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree requiredMinimum of one year of non-pharmaceutical B2B sales experience or one year of demonstrable non-pharmaceutical commission sales experienceMedical or healthcare experience a plusA track record of proven sales success outside the pharmaceutical industryExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, planning, critical thinking, problem solving, and exhibits sound judgementA persuasive communication style, ability to think strategically, excellent planning skills, and superior organizationEntrepreneurial mindset that contributes to building Arbor’s cultureStrong business acumen background with solid analytical skillsPossesses fortitude to sell and compete in the face of constant rejectionCandidate must live within the territoryDaily travel required - overnight travel is territory dependentAcceptable driving record, valid driver’s license, and insurance that meets company standardsPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
