What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professor of Nursing Focused on Retention and Remediation (Grant-Funded) position at azwestern?
Summary of Function:
All faculty members are involved in continuous assessment and
engaged in expanding teaching methodologies and delivery systems to improve
student academic success and retention. Full-time faculty will follow an
80-10-10 model. This includes active participation in departmental/divisional
meetings and activities, student recruitment/retention/advisement activities,
community/partner relationships, and in activities that promote and support the
district-wide academic goals of the local constituents and the college. Faculty
may be asked to teach on various campuses or via online/hybrid courses as
directed by the needs of the community. Such assignments may be any length of
time and course scheduling may include daytime, evening, and/or weekend hours.
