Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our private school team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young students. Our preschool program is designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in children aged 3 to 5 years old.
12 units of ECE is mandatory.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with our preschool curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate play-based learning and promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that supports the well-being and happiness of our students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive preschool program that meets the needs of our students.
- Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure that they are informed of their child's progress and any challenges that may arise.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who require extra help.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
Skills:
- Proven experience in early childhood education and preschool teaching.
- Strong knowledge of child welfare and special education principles.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with children, colleagues, and parents effectively.
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Experience working in a private school or similar setting.
- Experience in toddler care and preschool teaching.
- Strong understanding of the needs and abilities of children with special needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.
