B&A Property Maintenance is looking for a dynamic branch leader who can continue to build on the legacy the company has established in Arkansas for over 20 years.

The Regional Branch functions as a microcosm of the entire organization. This means that organizationally it is structured across the Sales / Operations / Finance departments and has corresponding accountability.

The Branch Manager is expected to be well-versed in and comfortable with understanding all three major departments of the business. Experience working in the field and a strong operational background in the exterior service industry is helpful, but not required. Over time, he or she is expected to grow the branch and build a team to execute all the organizational functions at a high level, with the benefit of having an experienced and reliable operations manager already in place and a “playbook” provided by the Central team.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

General Management:

  • Lead, serve, manage, and build up the Branch team.
  • Hire, onboard, train, develop, and retain staff.
  • Contribute to the strategic future of the business in the region.

Sales:

  • Pursue new business opportunities.
  • Respond to client care needs.
  • Close business.

Operations:

  • Ensure accurate, on-time, and on-budget execution of contracted work.
  • Support the team in the field.
  • Manage sub-contractor relationships and contracts.

Finance:

  • Manage budget for the branch.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports of key performance indicators, as well as qualitative assessment of the progress and growth of the branch.

Administrative support from the Central office to the Branch will cover finance, HR, and IT responsibilities.

Goals:

  • Sustainably grow the Branch.
  • Build an excellent team of managers, foremen, and technicians.
  • Secure and maintain the assets, including the office space, in excellent condition.
  • Maintain a culture of honesty, integrity, progress and excellence.
  • Specific Sales and Operations KPI’s to be determined together.

3. Technical Competencies:

  • Leading teams of five or more people.
  • Ability to identify talent, develop it, and retain it on the team.
  • Experience in the service industry with route-based, crew-based operations.
  • Able to estimate, budget, and present ideas to clients.
  • Lead with empathy, humility, and accountability.
  • Familiarity with EOS operating system is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary, commensurate with experience, plus an annual performance bonus.

B&A was founded in 2001 and it has grown from a single-man operation to over 40 people serving the commercial exterior services needs of clients across Arkansas and surrounding states. We currently work from two primary locations, Greenbrier and Springdale, AR. The vision of B&A is to become the one-stop shop for managers who want to “set and forget” the regular maintenance of their properties.

Operating Framework

The company is organized across three primary departments: Sales, Operations, and Finance. Sales is responsible for marketing and closing new business. Operations is responsible for executing contracted work. Finance is responsible for managing the funds, but also covers office, HR, and IT management.

Each teammate of the company has varying levels of responsibility.

The responsibility of each Level is expressed across the following dimensions:

TIME | PEOPLE | ASSETS | BUDGET.

TIME: Our service is measured by time and quality. Managing time well is everyone’s primary responsibility. The Branch Leader frame of mind is set on a 1- to 12-month horizon. While the daily tasks and responsibilities are always there, the Branch Leader is a manager who has his/her eyes set further out into the horizon, making sure that today’s actions build up to accomplish tomorrow’s goals.

PEOPLE: All service is done by the combination of People and Assets. Serving People is our highest calling. The Branch Leader manages the operations and people of the branch, including Sales and Operations. The Finances are managed by the head office in Central Arkansas.

ASSETS: Assets, well-handled by the People, help us get the job done. The Branch Leader manages the efficient and safe use of the assets in the region, keeps the equipment in good repair, and recommends new investments wisely.

BUDGET: The Branch Manager monitors the annual budget of the region and makes budgetary decisions up to a clearly defined and agreed upon level, depending on tenure and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
