Job Summary -- Property management company seeks skilled person for residential maintenance at mobile home parks. Ideal person has skills, broad knowledge, and experience with a little bit of everything. Direct employee/W-2 position. We are NOT seeking a general contractor.
Responsibilities and Duties -- General maintenance for residential service calls and unit turnovers. Service calls include (but are not limited to) repairs to and/or replacement of plumbing (faucets, garbage disposal, toilet, water heater); electrical (outlets, breaker panel); appliances (swamp cooler, window air conditioner, furnace). Turn units for rent ready status include (but are not limited to) flooring installation; painting; mini blinds install; drywall patch; door hanging/replacement.
Qualifications and Skills -- Knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures in residential maintenance. Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and practice safety requirements. Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience preferred. Ability to work independently and efficiently, take direction, and meet deadlines. Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
Other -- Salary dependent on experience. Background check and drug test required. Provide salary requirement.
