B and D Auctions seeks dedicated, dynamic Auction Associates to join our team. If you have a passion for antiques and collectibles and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!
Responsibilities :
Efficiently take high-quality photographs of incoming antiques and collectibles.
Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) as required.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients both in-house and on-house calls.
Accompany the auction team on house calls and cleanouts, treating all items with care.
Carefully and efficiently load trucks.
Must have a driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
Work comfortably in current weather conditions without climate control.
Assist customers with dropping off consignments, understanding the consignment process, and evaluating items for auction.
Handle furniture and assist with moving and managing large items regularly.
Participate in our biweekly auction process :
Week 1 : Photographing, cataloging, and organizing the warehouse floor.
Week 2 : Assisting customers with merchandise pickup, photography and cataloging, and shipping items.
Assist with shipping items to buyers in a timely and efficient manner.
Utilize knowledge of eBay sales or online sales to enhance our auction processes.
Share cleaning responsibilities, including :
Weekly bathroom cleaning on rotation.
Daily sweeping and trash removal.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Foster a unified and motivated team environment, contributing positively to the team and company's success.
Qualifications :
Experience in photography, especially product photography.
Ability to take high-quality photographs quickly and efficiently.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with eBay or other online sales platforms is a plus.
Experience with the current antique and collectible market is a plus.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills for house calls.
