Description
DESCRIPTION:
Down load programs to specific USB flash drives and pull tools as required by the documented set up sheets. Operate the tool crib software and control product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads and interprets written work order instructions, specifications, and tool geometry
- Utilize the vending software system to ensure min-max levels are correct
- Pulling cutter and holders to the setup sheet requirement
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one year experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop setting
- Experience with various carbide cutters and radii and well as drills
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
- Must have reliable transportation and work overtime as needed
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to measure and set tooling to the required size
- Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers
- Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
- Problem solving skills a must
- Strong communication skills and a good eye to detail
