Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

The U.S. Car Care Division(“CCD”) of Recochem Corporation is seeking an experienced Shipping / Receiving person to join our team in Northglenn, CO. Recochem Corporation is a global leader in formulating, producing, contract packaging and wholesale distribution of household and transportation fluids.

B&B Blending develops and manufactures a full line of automotive reconditioning, car wash, janitorial and industrial cleaning products sold through private-label distribution worldwide in addition to blending its premium lines Adam’s Polishes and Paint Over Rust (P.O.R.). Job Summary:

Coordinate shipping and receiving activities and ensure appropriate safety, quality and production objectives are met.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ship and receive products in a productive and cost-efficient manner
• Processing shipment and/or receipts from both domestic and international locations
• Responsible for receiving and shipping errors, and staging of products
• Correct any and all errors as they arise.
• Responsible for complying with safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations
• Unloading (for Receiver) and loading (for Shipper) of pallets/materials onto trucks as required by the workload using all available forms of warehouse equipment.
• Monitor the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist for timely data entry
• Monitor the flow of paperwork from Shipping to Scheduling Manager for timely data entry.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
• Perform other related duties as directed by management

Required Skill/Abilities:

• Experience with UPS and Fed Ex is required
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
• Preferred not required:
• Forklift experience – Organization can retrain and recertify.
• Previous HAZMAT training – Organization can retrain and recertify.

Physical Requirements:

·Must have ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
