Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Overview:

B&B Cool Air is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration equipment, including commercial coolers and ice machines, found in various business settings. You will work independently to diagnose issues, perform essential repairs, and ensure that all refrigeration systems operate efficiently, contributing to a seamless experience for customers in commercial locations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in sustaining the optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues
• Perform routine maintenance for efficiency
• Replace defective parts and components
• Ensure safety standard compliance
• Keep detailed records of work performed
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Work independently or in a team
• Stay updated on industry trends
• Perform emergency repairs
• Test systems for leaks and issues
• Calibrate systems for optimal performance
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and components
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical diagrams
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
• Proficiency with tools and equipment used in refrigeration repair
• Ability to keep detailed records and documentation
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and technologies
• Experience with computer-based diagnostic tools
