Warehouse Manager/Parts Coordinator

B&B Heat and Air is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager/Parts Coordinator to join our team!

Job Duties:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and materials.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages.
• Identify and source suppliers for required parts and materials.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Create and maintain detailed records of inventory levels, transactions, and supplier information.
• Generate reports on inventory status, usage, and costs.
• Collaborate with various departments, including production, maintenance, and purchasing, to understand their parts and material needs.
• Communicate with suppliers to address issues, track orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on inventory status and availability.
• Inspect incoming parts for quality and accuracy.
• Oversee the organization of the parts storage area to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
• Implement proper storage and handling procedures to prevent damage or deterioration of parts.
• Facilitate the process of ordering and receiving parts needed for repairs.
• Look for opportunities to reduce costs through efficient inventory practices and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing parts and materials.
• Address and resolve issues related to parts shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
• Implement solutions to optimize the parts procurement and inventory management processes.
• Receive deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse vehicle fleet.
• Review/approve timesheets of direct reports.
• Provide leadership/supervision of direct reports.
