About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Public Area Housekeeper to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Public Area Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas within the hotel. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and work closely with other members of the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager
