Works in the Ice Department as directed by Ice Department Supervisor. Employee must have a current and valid driver’s license; either Class A or Class C, depending upon driving position requirements. Special training and license is preferred – TWIC, ISTC, Etc. Employee must pass a criminal background check (determined by B&B).
All full-time employees are eligible for benefits upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver 10# and 20# ice bags to customers
- Retail stores and refineries
- Loading and unloading of ice truck(s)
- Driving – intermediately throughout the shift
- Use a handheld delivery system device for creating customer tickets
- Deliver GREAT customer service
- Safety
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- Proper PPE – Hardhat, Earplugs, Gloves, Nomex, Safety Glasses, Gas monitor, Steel Toe Boots
NOTE: Employee must provide their own footwear. All other PPE is provided by B&B.
- No cell phones or headphones/earbuds allowed.
- Knowledge of safe operation of pallet jack and forklift
- Pallet jack awareness – avoid pinch points to lower extremities
- Forklift awareness – Make eye contact with drivers. WARNING: Be aware of and avoid pinch points.
- Maintain awareness of working on elevated, wet and slippery surfaces
- Quality/Food Safety
- No dangling jewelry allowed - Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc.
- No Beard Policy applies to Refinery Delivery Drivers.
- Productivity
- Must be willing to work in wet, dry, extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
- Employee must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and report to work either on a morning shift or evening shift.
- Employee must adhere to all company policies including but not limited to attendance.
- Be ready to assist and/or rotate to other positions at the direction of the Ice Department Supervisor.
