Requirements:
Burton Logistics Solutions is seeking candidates for the position of Switcher Shuttle driver. Position is local driver position requiring switching of trailers and containers from the yard lot to a dock door or shuttling of trailers from warehouse to offsite warehouse.
Full Time: Hours are 3:00pm - 12:00am (Daily - Mon-Fri with Saturdays required periodically)
Location: Northern Winston-Salem area near Rural Hall NC
Starting pay: $19.00 hour - increase pay based upon performance
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to drive a day cab or switcher truck with hydraulic fifth wheel.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather.
- Must be able to use bolt cutters to cut seals off trailers and open/close trailer doors.
- Move trailers to offsite lot locations.

Requirements:
- CDL - Class A commercial driver license and valid DOT medical card.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work under pressure and time management.
- 1 year of experience as a Driver / Shifter. Clean background check required.
- Must be available to work extra hours when needed - incl. weekends.
- Knowledge or applicable transportation regulations and laws.
