Position: General Laborer, Powder Coat/Sandblast

Position Overview: We are seeking a driven, hardworking person for our power coat paint/sandblast operations. Applicants should have some knowledge of powder coat processes and material prep. processes.

Responsibilities:

· Set-up Powder equipment.

· Set-up colors and make color changes to the powder coating system.

· Package finished parts for shipping.

· Communicate any Quality problems.

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, prepare, and finish surfaces according to specifications
• Inspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
• Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:

· Good Verbal and written communication skills.

• Understanding of safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:

· Some knowledge of finishing systems (powder coating/ sandblast).

• Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments
• Familiarity with different surface materials and coatings

Position / Work hours information:

• Full time 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday
• 7am – 3:30 pm Mon – Fridays
