Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of landscape design principles and be proficient in using various design software. This role involves collaborating with clients to create innovative outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of their properties. The Landscape Designer will be responsible for developing comprehensive landscape plans, ensuring that projects are executed effectively from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for landscape projects.
  • Create detailed landscape designs using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, and Revit.
  • Develop project management plans to ensure timely completion of landscaping projects.
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and determine design feasibility.
  • Prepare planting plans, irrigation designs, and maintenance schedules for landscapes.
  • Utilize GIS tools such as ArcView to analyze spatial data and inform design decisions.
  • Oversee the implementation of landscape designs, coordinating with contractors and suppliers as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support for landscape maintenance, ensuring designs remain vibrant and sustainable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, and Revit is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and irrigation systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces that meet client needs while being environmentally sustainable.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Landscape Designer or in a similar role (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping design principles, plant types, and hardscaping materials.
  • Proficient in landscape design software (were open to seeing what you like to use) we uses dynascape.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design, functionality, and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability practices is a plus.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 20 hours per week
  • 8-hour shifts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing past projects
  • Driver’s License (Required)
  • Ability to work in both office and outdoor environments

Work Location:
On-site and in-office (varies by project)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
