Duties
- Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, trees, sod, and other landscaping materials.
- Prepare and maintain flower beds, lawns, and other garden areas.
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems.
- Perform basic hardscaping tasks such as installing walkways, retaining walls, and other structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring job sites are organized.
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
- Assist with landscape design and installation projects.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while working on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with the team and supervisors.
- Assist in completing landscaping projects on time and to the highest standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of tree care practices and lawn maintenance techniques is beneficial.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and communication.
