Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. Our current system has been having one Pharmacist and one Pharmacy Technician working together, we are looking to add another technician to work alongside during our busiest times. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. This position requires a strong , medication administration, and patient service, particularly in a hospital or critical care setting.
Schedule
A typical work schedule would be 3 to 4 days a week. This would usually be a Monday, Tuesday, and Friday in the morning times, with maybe a Saturday a month. Shifts would typically be a 5 to 8-hour day.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications to patients.
- Answering the phone and assisting patients with their needs and requests.
- Working through the Escript system and filling when required.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy workspace.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, particularly in a retail environment, is highly desirable.
- Strong and pharmacy practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
