Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, read and listen to their preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders.
- Know the drink menus and inform guests about new beverages and specials.
- Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to guests.
- Check identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, equipment, etc.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the entire bar area including counters, floors, liquor wells, liquor bottles, all equipment, ice wells, etc.
We are looking for a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a neat appearance. If you have experience mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks, that's a plus. You must also be able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
