Are you a technically minded problem solver who’s passionate about making a tangible impact in healthcare?
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our dedicated Technical Services team to help maintain life-saving dialysis equipment at our Renal Care Centres across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, in this key role you'll provide servicing, repairs, installations, and ongoing support for haemodialysis machines and associated water treatment systems. You’ll be the trusted technical contact for healthcare clients, helping ensure patients receive safe, reliable treatment every time.
Your Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair machines within guidelines and service documentation processes and procedures
- Attend customer sites to perform preventative maintenance as well as upgrades to the latest firmware to their existing fleet as required (in Australia and New Zealand)
- Be the first point of contact for third party service providers and Avitum Renal Care Centres (RCC).
- Consult to internal & external customers in relation to trouble shooting, diagnostic and providing technical support
- Provide super user training for selected staff at Avitum RCC as required.
- To ensure that the company’s quality assurance system is complied with and maintained in all relevant areas
Ideally, your background will include:
- Strong technical aptitude with proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience repairing haemodialysis machines is essential, and experience with reverse osmosis units/ water treatment systems is highly preferred
- Experience with B. Braun Avitum machines will be highly advantageous.

To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in Australia/NZ, a valid Driver’s Licence, the ability to travel within Australia and New Zealand as required, with the occasional requirement to travel overseas and, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
