- You have aviation/automotive parts manufacturing or repair experience – e.g. soldering, sheet metal assembly, wiring and electrical, chemical processing, machining, or like processes
- You’re proficient with an array of tools and machines you’d typically find in a mechanic shop like hand tools and power tools
- You can read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
What you’ll be doing:
- Disassembly and modification of aircraft alternator and starter parts
- Complete and prep alternator, regulator, and starter sub-assemblies
- Build, rebuild, and repair alternators
- Some management of inventory and stocking of parts
- Chemical washing and processing of parts
- Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain work areas and tool sets
- Cross-train for variable manufacturing tasks in the company
Absolutely Required:
- **MUST HAVE** Excellent work attendance - you have very few obligations or health requirements that might conflict with your work schedule
- Physical capacity to regularly lift and manipulate 10 lb. objects and to stand for long periods of time.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reliable form of transportation
- Newton, KS or nearby area residency
