Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated person to join our team. We are a leading provider of parking lot striping, signage installation, and sealcoating services. As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of various outdoor projects, contributing to the improvement and maintenance of parking lots and other paved surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in parking lot striping, signage installation, and sealcoating tasks.
- Prepare work sites by ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are ready and in good working condition.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely, including pressure washers, sealcoating machines, and paint sprayers.
- Support the team in applying sealcoat, line painting, and installing traffic and directional signage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Help load/unload materials and transport equipment to and from job sites.
- Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate and coordinate with other crew members to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Assist with general labor duties, including site cleanup, tool maintenance, and basic equipment setup.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable lifting and moving materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when needed.
