Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Maintenance and Project Support Associate to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment, as well as providing project support to various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work efficiently on both maintenance and project-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts replacements.
- Work with external vendors or contractors for specialized maintenance or equipment service when necessary.
- Monitor equipment performance to proactively identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
- Project Support:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects within the organization.
- Provide technical and logistical support to project teams, ensuring that equipment is available and in proper working order for project activities.
- Help with the procurement and installation of new equipment and machinery for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timelines and goals are met.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all equipment maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and industry regulations.
- Report any safety hazards or compliance issues related to equipment or project operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical advice and guidance to team members regarding equipment use and maintenance.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques for equipment.
- Stay current on new equipment and maintenance technologies, recommending upgrades or new tools as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with project coordination or support is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance.
Working Conditions:
- This role may require occasional travel to different job sites.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoors or in industrial settings.
