Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction, maintenance, and other operational tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment functionality, safety protocols, and the ability to work in diverse environments.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including Excavators, Forklifts and skid steers
- Job demands:
- Finish concrete
- Form/tie rebar
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements
- General Carpentry Knowledge
- DISA drug/alcohol testing (Hair, urine, & breath alcohol)
- DISA background check
- TWIC
- OSHA Basic
- Valero Meraux Site Specific
- Domino Sugar Site Specific
- Proven experience in operating heavy machinery such as excavators, forklifts and skid steers
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with equipment operation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or overtime as necessary.
