Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Technician/Customer Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for both customer-facing and hands-on maintenance tasks. You will provide exceptional service to our customers by delivering and preparing equipment, performing regular maintenance and repairs, and ensuring smooth communication and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Delivery & Setup: Safely deliver and set up equipment at customer locations as required.
- Customer Service: Answer incoming phone calls, address customer inquiries, and schedule deliveries and pickups in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance on equipment including greasing, oil changes, and general repairs.
- Equipment Preparation: Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for orders, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, including any customer interactions, maintenance performed, and equipment status updates.
- General Support: Assist in the organization of equipment storage and ensure maintenance areas are clean and safe.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or technical work, preferably with equipment or machinery.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a flexible, part-time schedule.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document work performed.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain one.
