Job Summary
The Construction Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our Owner, office team and field crews with day-to-day operations, ensuring projects stay on schedule and customers stay informed. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of residential construction trades (framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, finish carpentry, etc.), be comfortable communicating with customers, and be skilled in using project management software and tools. This position requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
Duties
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating residential remodeling and handyman projects.
- Communicate professionally with customers to provide updates, gather information, and set expectations.
- Support the project management team by entering and maintaining data in project management software (BuilderTrend).
- Help prepare and manage job documentation and material orders.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, take photos, and verify quality of work.
- Liaise with subcontractors and in-house crews to ensure they have the tools and information needed.
- Handle minor field tasks or deliveries as needed.
- Assist in ensuring safety protocols and timelines are followed on all job sites.
Qualifications
- General knowledge of residential construction trades (experience in the field is a plus).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be located in the Tucson, AZ area.
Work Location
- This role will be a hybrid of site visits, in-office and work from home. Ideal candidate will have flexibility to meet day to day needs of the company operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Jobber, or similar construction software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
