Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PSS Supervisor provides comprehensive administrative direction and coordination for the division. This role ensures compliance with service definitions, supports team efficiency, and promotes quality care for service recipients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Team Orientation and Training
· Provide orientation for new Peers on their respective service definitions.
· Assist in training and professional development of Peer Support Workers (PSS).
Administrative Oversight
· Support Independent Living Initiative (ILI) applications and follow-up tasks.
· Collect and verify weekly documentation, ensuring alignment of electronic medical records with client signatures.
Monitor and track daily logs weekly, running productivity reports to assess team performance.
· Assist in the review and preparation of person-centered plans for re-authorization.
· Track new client admissions and address barriers to timely contact.
Engagement and Compliance
· Maintain regular weekly communication with Peer Support Workers to address engagement challenges and ensure timely note submission.
· Track and report note status updates twice weekly (Mondays and Wednesdays).
· Review "No Shows" and troubleshoot engagement issues in collaboration with Peer Support Workers.
Systematic Tracking and Monitoring
· Develop and maintain tracking/monitoring systems to ensure department adherence to budgetary and compliance expectations.
· Establish and manage performance expectations for Peersew providing regular feedback.
Auditing and Reporting
· Oversee monthly UDS (Uniform Data System) tracking.
· Track re-authorization reminders and Medicaid expiration reports.
· Audit electronic medical records to ensure compliance with updated consents and releases of information.
Clinical Support Coordination
· Provide assistance in resolving issues related to primary care and medication management.
· Oversee the scheduling of psychiatrists and primary care providers to ensure clients’ needs are met.
· Maintain close communication with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and PSS staff to ensure adherence to medical management protocols.
Communication and Updates
· Send weekly updates regarding scheduled appointments.
· Provide weekly reports on compliance-related tasks, including required consents and releases.
