Overview
B&D Masonry is looking for a skilled and experienced Mason Foreman to oversee and manage masonry work on construction sites. As a Mason Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising a team of masons, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining effective communication with project managers.
In this role, you will plan and organize daily tasks, assign duties to team members, and monitor their performance to ensure efficiency and quality. You will also be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring that all masonry work aligns with project specifications. Additionally, you will oversee the procurement and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring minimal waste and maximum productivity.
The Mason Foreman will also play a key role in maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections of the worksite. You will need to address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, providing solutions to keep the project on track.

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the work of masons on construction site.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Ensure all masonry work meets project specifications and quality standards
- Monitor the safe us of materials, tools, and equipment to minimize waste
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections
- Communicate effectively with project managers
- Resolve and issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
- Train and mentor team members to improve skill and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers regarding project updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or as a supervisor in the construction industry.
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Background check, Child Abuse Clearance and Fingerprinting required to be approved to work on job sites.
- Valid checking account for direct deposit of paycheck
