B & D Services, Inc. is seeking a Residential Support Specialist (RSS). This position would be responsible for various aspects of the Residential Program. Including documentation, scheduling, and managing site needs. The RSS will be responsible for managing and recording client appointments, reviewing staff paperwork, and healthcare entries. Along with ensuring person supported files are comprehensive and accurate. B & D Services, Inc. is a growing company that provides services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, brain injuries and behavioral health concerns. Qualifications include; must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; and must meet minimal requirements of: a high school diploma (or GED) and preferably three years of experience in the delivery, planning, and coordination of services for persons with disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or mental illness, or a combination of education and experience in the human services area. (Volunteer and personal experiences will be considered.) Will consider on the job training with an extended probationary period until the Program Director deems that you meet the job’s qualifications. Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Ability to display patience, tact, fairness, and common sense in dealing with individuals,
their families and friends, health care professionals, other employees, Program
Coordinators, and the public. Must be willing to attend team meetings and schooling to
keep updated on changes and ideas in the field and our operating policies and procedures.
You must have a telephone to be reached when needed. Must have a reliable vehicle along
with a valid driver’s license and current automobile liability coverage with $100,000 per
person, $300,000 per accident, $100,000 property damage, and pass a TB Screening

Schedule:
Typical work week Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p. Hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the individuals we support. On-call rotation, 1 day per week, every 4th weekend.
