Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes, managing inventory and food costs, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety standards, and training and mentoring kitchen staff. The Executive Chef will also collaborate with the restaurant management team to create seasonal menus and special event offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and trends
- Menu planning and food presentation skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Inventory management and cost control skills
- Understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in Texas BBQ is a plus
