Job Summary
B&E Resources is seeking skilled and dedicated Pipefitters to work at our Corpus Christi, Texas location. This role requires a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The job duration is 2-4 weeks. Shop fabrication to field install. No Per Diem, No Travel required.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Fabricate pipes using various materials such as copper, PVC, and steel.
- Weld pipes as necessary to ensure secure connections.
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of piping systems to identify potential issues or leaks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role working within industrial service construction or maintenance industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, including welding, soldering, and tube bending.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe installation.
