Interim Manager, Palliative Care Needed in Mountain View, CA!


The Position

  • An Interim Manager, Palliative Care is needed to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate, high-quality palliative care services across all hospital units.
  • Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer, this leader will oversee approximately 7 FTEs.
  • Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations such as staff scheduling, patient assignments, and fostering a cohesive team dynamic.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least three years of leadership experience in palliative care, with a proven ability to build trust and manage complex team dynamics. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and adaptable to changing needs. Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Active CA RN license required.
  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a palliative care setting required.

Compensation Details

  • Compensation Range: $140,000 to $160,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
