Job Summary

B&F Contracting is seeking a Hydrovac Assistant to help operate specialized equipment to safely excavate and expose underground utilities and pipelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Prep hydrovac truck in the morning
Open manhole and line operator up for jetting
Set up pipes, pull out hose, and get digging wand, or cleaning head for jetting
Hydro excavate and swap out with operator as needed
Assist operator in hooking up water connection
Pack up pipes, reel in hose and put away tools
Back up operator to the dump and dump/washout truck
Help organize and prep hydrovac truck for next day

Requirements

Experience assisting in Hydro Excavation, Culvert Cleaning, and Sewer Pipeline Cleaning
Ability to lift, push, pull 50-75 pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions
Adept with technology
Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and communication skills

Salary : $22 - $26
