The Production Clerk position works closely with the Purchasing Manager to assist with departmental functions to help support the improvement and development of operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for issuing, maintaining, and reconciling weekly and monthly work orders.
- Daily production reconciliation with Finished Goods Warehouse.
- Reconciles weekly bread usage and reports out to Management Team.
- Works closely with QA team to reconcile any outstanding quality holds prior to month end closing.
- Review daily cycle count results with cycle counter and perform root cause analysis for any variances outside of our tolerances.
- Serve as back up to Planning Manager.
- Update Bill of Materials as needed.
- Focus on reducing any obsolete or distressed material/ingredients within the plant.
- Adheres to all Safety & GMP Procedures
- Performs Additional Functions as assigned
Experience, Skills, Education:
- High School Diploma Required, Associate’s Degree Preferred
- 1 year(s) of inventory reconciliation and/or cycle counting experience Required
- Production Clerk Experience Preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Basic Math/Reading/Comprehension Skills
- Capability to Work Independently or Group Setting
- Able to Communicate Proficiently.
- Competence to Identify Problems and Address Accordingly
