The Enterprise Application Specialist will work on projects and provide support for the company's EDI, AS2, EAI, Customer Web Portal integration with the corporate applications. Enterprise application integration (EAI) is the use of software and computer systems' architectural principles to integrate a set of enterprise computer applications. EAI encompasses EDI, B2B, AS2, HTTP, Web Portals, and digital messaging. This will include support for the existing EDI Infrastructure, EDI Mapping & transaction sets, and IBM B2B Integrator (formerly Sterling Integrator). This position will accomplish standard communication for orders and other transaction sets from customers, vendors, and other third party stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in projects related IBM's Sterling B2B Integrator, including but not limited to mapping creation and support for multiple partners including customers, third party logistics and other third party partners, creation of B2B processes and procedures to assist in converting external data into internal data used for transactions such as: Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices, Adjustments, Transfers, Receipts, Inventory Status, etc.
- Participate in projects related to onboarding new customers, third party logistics and other third party partners for the EDI/B2B/EAI infrastructure.
- Work with our customers, suppliers and internal business analysts in a variety of technologies in order to exchange data and automate business functions (e.g. Web services, EDI/B2B/EAI processes, data transformations, managed file transfers, error handling, data audits etc.) Work in high volume of EDI transactions supporting multiple B2B transactions
- Deploy, support, integrate, and expand our ability to automate order processing, invoicing, warehouse shipping, inventory transfers and receiving's for EDI/EAI.
- Data Integration for Customer requirements in Shipping, Order Management, Compliance Application Development for MSSQL.
Experience, Skills, Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- EDI, X12 transaction experience required
- Previous experience utilizing IBM's Sterling B2b Integrator
