- Evaluating both anticipated and ad-hoc raw material needs, you will strategize with key stakeholders like expeditors and production leads.
- Craft and send comprehensive Requests for Quotations to potential suppliers.
- Your role will involve meticulous scrutiny of quotations, ensuring pricing and lead times align seamlessly.
- Implement orders and maintain detailed procurement records on the MRP platform, keeping tabs on lead times and inventory benchmarks.
- Regular checks across departmental orders, identifying and addressing any lag in deliveries.
- Resolve product quality issues collaboratively with QC and Engineering, approving invoices upon resolution.
- You will be pivotal in nurturing current supplier partnerships while exploring avenues for new alliances.
- In tandem with Engineering, resolve specifications for new components, overseeing prototype processes.
