Position: Daytime Food Service/Customer Service Team Member
Job Description:
This Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness and quality of food in accordance with B&G Milkyway standards. This position will also assist with other food service projects as needed by the restaurant. Hours are EXTREMELY flexible! Also, NO grease and NO fry stations!
Pay starts at $15 per hour PLUS TIPS!!!!
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Greets customers and assists customers with orders.
- Prepares and serves food items according to customers' selections.
- Completes food prep work.
- Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen area by mopping, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning glasses and utensils, and disposing of trash appropriately.
- Cleans counters and works well in a team environment.
- Follows all safety and health regulations in the kitchen area.
- Stores all food items in the correct storage area per company policies. Ensures that all storage areas are kept clean at all times.
- Works well with others in the kitchen area and practices proper communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work daytime hours on weekdays.
- Must be able to work during school hours.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time during shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions and stay up-to-date on new HACCP guidelines and policies.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
