Position: Maintenence Repair Technician Team Member
Job Description:
This Team Member is responsible for ensuring that the service equipment and facilities are in good working order and meet the ongoing safety and sanitation standards required. Position will have a focus towards ongoing routine cleaning and maintenance of restaurant equipment.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
- Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
- Planning and scheduling repairs and ordering parts and supplies.
- Maintain a high level of excellence in the overall appearance of all facilities.
- Show pride in your job, company and brand in all your work.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Perform cleaning duties after completing work on equipment, building and grounds.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Provide occasional grounds keeping services, such as landscaping and snow removal.
- Repair and maintain restaurant equipment to keep it in working order.
- Knowledge of refrigeration is preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work morning/daytime hours on weekday and weekends, mainly outside of normal operating hours of the restaurant.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time during shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair and refrigeration maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations and standards.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
