Job Overview :
The IS Sr. Program Manager plays an important role in allowing business executives and stakeholders to bring their business ideas to fruition. With their business, strategy, and technical acumen, the Sr. Program Manager works with business, technology teams, and vendors to manage the gathering of requirements, design / architecture of solutions, and oversees them to completion.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Manage projects of varying sizes as required by the company. Bring your large software project management experience to help bring software implementation projects to successful completion.
- Manage projects by providing day-to-day leadership to analyze their requirements, develop the designs, and implement in-house legacy solutions.
- Monitor and manage project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure project stays on track for assigned projects or portfolio of projects.
- Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the business and the operational aspects of the project, including a focus on building strong business relationships.
- Facilitate regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
- Assist IS team members in the key project delivery during requirements, design, testing and user acceptance testing sessions.
- Coordinate IS project teams to ensure that business requirements are effectively incorporated into design specifications, multi-platform integrations and data transfers.
- Identifies, assesses, and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Conduct the Business Requirements gathering and To-Be state design workshops.
Additional Responsibilities : This role may also own a portfolio of projects to manage and may manage additional resources.
