Director of Reverse Logistics

Job Overview:

Our Reverse Logistics department is tasked with facilitating a smooth end-to-end process from when an item is returned to our Returns Facility, to it being returned to stock or sent back to our partner vendors for recoup of returned item value.

The Director of Reverse Logistics will oversee and lead all department-related objectives. This includes creating and maintaining the department strategy, ensuring a smooth experience for B&H customers, and recouping the optimal value for all returned merchandise. This will include establishing a return policy, and setting customer expectations when they are in the journey of purchasing an item.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for our Reverse Logistics strategy.
• Overseeing Reverse Logistics day-to-day operations.
• Responsible for maximum recoup of merchandise in the Reverse Logistics chain.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally across B&H teams, to enhance the overall Customer Experience in returning an item.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated and proven Leadership skills.
• Strategic and critical thinker.

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Warehouse / Operations setting.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks

• This position will be based out of our Midtown-NY office, with occasional travel required (as needed) to our Burlington-NJ Returns facility.
