Job Overview :
Under the direct supervision, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance
repairs on facility equipment and property structures in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and
regulations.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Carpentry : Performs basic rough and finished carpentry repair of structures such as partitions, walls, doors,
fences, window frames, office furniture, roofs and shelves
Electrical : Performs basic electrical repair work for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, appliances, and lightingsystems; reports unsafe electrical conditions
Plumbing : Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines anddrains; replaces seals and other minor parts; maintains drinking fountains, replaces, repairs and maintains
hot water heaters and other appliances
Painting : Applies and prepares various surfaces of paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain and repairs wallcoverings
Repair and make sure all conveyors and elevators are functionableConduct routine inspections of premises and equipmentDiagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them; performing preventive maintenanceSet up and tear down chairs, tables and equipment in meetings rooms, and function roomsTake apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective partsAdditional Responsibilities :

Requires ability to use general toolsBasic knowledge of the following : carpentry, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, electrical wiring andmaintenance of hand tools and equipment
