Job Overview:
This position plays an important role in providing financial awareness across multiple areas of the business. As a Sr. Financial Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for performing data-driven analyses to provide meaningful insights to senior management and other stakeholders, to support business decisions and identify areas of opportunity to optimize results. In this role, you will also assist junior analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze and present financial reports with a focus on operational costs, capital investments, margin optimization and profitability to measure the effectiveness of the business operations.
- Utilize data modeling techniques and advanced Excel skills to create models, charts, graphs and other visualizations, effectively summarizing large, complex data sets and highlighting areas of focus for senior management and other stakeholders to drive improvements.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and reporting from senior management and other stakeholders to provide timely and accurate insights to support decision making.
- Assist with various FP&A analyses including preparation of operating/cash flow forecasts

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, COGNOS and Microstrategy)
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel functions and other financial software
- Detail oriented and organized with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to a non-financial audience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
- A degree in business, finance, accounting, operations management or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant financial analysis and modeling experience
- Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management and supply chain concepts, and GAAP a plus
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
