Design Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Professional to join our team and support the successful delivery of residential/commercial construction projects and custom home designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background of architectural and engineering design, understanding of full cycle project management, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to bring projects to life. This role involves managing design elements, working closely with clients, contractors, and the project team to ensure that design visions are met while maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Management:

• Develop and refine project designs in collaboration with architects, engineers, and owners, ensuring that all design objectives are met.
• Create and review design documents, plans, and specifications, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with client expectations.
• Oversee the design process, ensuring coordination between all project disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP) to deliver cohesive and functional solutions.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with the project manager to align design with construction schedules, budgets, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that design specifications are met during the construction phase.
• Attend regular project meetings with clients, architects, and engineers to provide design updates and address any issues or concerns that arise.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure that all design work adheres to relevant industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
• Conduct design reviews and contribute to quality control measures, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or design challenges.

Problem Solving & Innovation:

• Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for cost-saving design solutions and innovative building techniques.
• Contribute to the overall project goals by offering creative design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest design trends, building materials, and technology to bring cutting-edge solutions to our projects.
• Assist in the preparation of design proposals for new business opportunities.
