Position Overview:

B&H Specialty Construction is seeking a versatile Multi-Trade Laborer with experience in drywall finishing, rough and finish carpentry, and stucco. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various trades and a desire to work in a collaborative team environment. Knowledge and experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems will be considered a plus. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about construction and looking to grow within a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drywall Finishing: Install and finish drywall, ensuring smooth and level surfaces. Perform taping, mudding, and sanding to prepare for painting.
• Carpentry: Perform rough carpentry work including framing, building structures, and install finish carpentry such as trim, doors, and cabinetry.
• Stucco Work: Apply stucco coatings to buildings, ensuring an even finish and proper texture for both aesthetic and protective purposes.
• General Labor: Assist with various construction tasks across multiple trades as needed, including site prep, material handling, and cleanup.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, fellow workers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
• Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on work and ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship and within project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in drywall finishing, rough and finish carpentry, and stucco work.
• Skills: Proficient in using tools and equipment for carpentry, drywall finishing, and stucco application.
• Knowledge of MEP Systems: Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is a plus.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs, and to perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Safety: Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures and building codes.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
• Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred, as some travel to job sites may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hr, based on experience and skill level.
