Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating tools and cell phones with field employees and ensuring these are in proper working condition and well always maintained.
Maintain warehouse in an orderly and professional manner.
Maintain stock levels of inventory and safety supplies.
Order replacement materials as needed.
Receive and record all warehouse materials.
Record all warehouse materials that are transferred out of the warehouse. All job specific warehouse materials or equipment to be accurately recorded, and inventoried, such that a PM or Superintendent can easily locate job specific materials.
Stage equipment for upcoming jobs by priority.
Make recommendations for tool process improvements.
Review potential new tools for commercial grade durability and job requirements.
Continually keep warehouse organized and reorganize as necessary to accommodate new stock items.
Keep the warehouse clear of obstructions and tripping hazards.
Report all warehouse protocol violations to the manager immediately.
Report any building maintenance or building safety concerns to warehouse manager immediately.
Cross train in all aspects of warehouse to qualify as a backup as needed.
Assist in stock pulls as needed.
Assist in lawn and grounds maintenance as required.
Assist with shipping and receiving as necessary.
Some driving may be required.
Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience and have working knowledge of HVAC or Plumbing parts and materials.
Must have experience in the coordination and organization of inventoried materials preferably in a commercial construction setting.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Good computer skills in Microsoft Office Products.
Forklift Certification or will certify upon employment.
Must have a Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction); use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; stand for long periods of time.
Comply with all B&I safety procedures.
Drug test, background check and a clean driving record are pre-employment requirements.
